The Outdoor Mission Group of the New Hampshire Conference invites campers, parents, volunteers, staff,  past and present to Horton Center on May 17 from 1-3pm to celebrate the ministry of Site Manager Merle Cole.

After seven years of serving, Merle will be retiring at the end of May.   Merle has been maintaining and improving the site and facilities on Pine Mountain since May of 2008. With a story and a smile, Merle has smoothed roads, repaired cabin foundations, trained and equipped volunteers, and sustained and enhanced camp buildings in a rustic mountain environment. Merle’s knowledge of the workings of the site has enabled the program to transition through the years. As a beloved and key part of staff, he has welcomed thousands of campers as well as hosting guest groups in the spring and fall. His love of the people and mission of Horton Center and the NH Conference is evident to all who meet Merle. Join us in thanking Merle for serving selflessly. Merle, you will be missed!
