Looking Forward to 2017, Giving Thanks for 2016

We are excited to announce our 2017 (tentative) schedule!

We have all the classic sessions, plus are adding an Archery Camp, 4th of July Family Camp, and Leader in Training.  Check it out here!

Thank you for 2016!

We also give thanks for every camper, volunteer counselor, Dean, summer staffer, parent, Outdoor Mission Group, and volunteer who participated in the ministry that is Horton Center. We had a fantastic summer in 2016, with almost 400 campers learning how to be a courageous community on and off Pine Mountain. Campers learned about hunger in our communities and the world, discussed the complexity of solutions, and gave over $2,000 to End 68 Hours of Hunger, our 2016 summer mission project. (http://www.end68hoursofhunger.org/).  We can’t wait to see you in 2017!

Farewell to Director Mollie

With a heavy heart, we say goodbye to Director of Outdoor Ministries, Rev. Mollie Landers Hatt. She and her spouse Andrew, along with camp dog Katahdin, will be moving to Colorado in November. Come laugh, sing, and pray her farewell on November 13 at 3pm, at South Congregational Church, Concord, NH!  You can read her farewell letter here.
